NJROTC Plan Of The Week
PUBLIC AFFAIRS/COMMUNITY SERVICE
Aids Hike For Life- April 29 at Hamilton College.
Clothing Drive- Echo Platoon is conducting a clothing drive
for the Hurricane Katrina victims. If you have any clothes in good condition that
you can do without please bring them in. The clothes will be sent out on March 31. So if
You would like to help out bring the clothes to room M347. For more details contact
Wanita Mccoy (601-2822).
Community Service- Every Friday in March, along with
April 6 there will be a fish fry from 4 to 7pm at Sacred Heart Church on Ney Avenue
in Yorkville. Need 3 to 4 cadets at all times to serve food, and clean tables.
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty in.
Citizens Police Academy- Classes will be held in Mohawk Valley
Police Academy second floor of the Gym building, MVCC, 1101 Sherman.
**Only For The 8 Cadets Who Applied**. Those cadets should be getting
a call from the police shortly before classes begin to confirm their attendance.
It will be next Wednesday March 21 6 – 9pm. Classes will meet
every Wednesday for 8 weeks.
Zoo Easter Event- April 7 need 6 – 8 cadets. POC Anne Jackson

Veteran ID Project- Looking for cadets to volunteer in helping
to interview WW2 veterans to document their stories in the nation’s history archives
at The Library Of Congress. Anyone interested should see C/PO1 Ruggiero or put a letter
in his mail box.
International Night- March 22, 6 -8:30pm here at Proctor High School. Needed – 12 cadets to direct guests to the exhibits. Alpha Platoon.

Uniform Of The Week: Winter Blues.
End Of The Year Video- If you have any photo’s you would like
to have in the end of year video, please place them in CO’s or XO’s mail box
in M347 by March 30.
Senior Cruise Meeting- Wednesday March 21 5 – 6 pm in M347.
Navel Academy Summer Seminar- Applications are being accepted Feb 1 – March 31 Online at
http://www.usna.edu/Admissions/nass.htm. Their is a cost to attend this.
Supply: Uniform business will only be conducted during your NJROTC Class.
Promotion Drill Instruction **Attention NS1’s if you would like to advance your rank and
you need to do the following (Personal Inspection, Basic Drill, and Armed Drill) see
C/LTJG Kendrick and CMCPO Wilkinson.
ASVAB is scheduled to be given in room M358 on March 30. Those interested in the military should consider taking this exam.
Rockland Drill Meet- March 31.
Senior Cruise- April 1 – 6.
Pizza Sales- April 18 – May 11.WE NEED PARENTS to supervise this. Cadet should sign up in the classroom if you would like to work the sales table during lunch periods.
NS2/NS3 Field Trips- April 20 (Friday) to Rome Labs and NEADS. Chaperones needed.
Rochester Drill Meet- April 28.
