PUBLIC AFFAIRS/COMMUNITY SERVICE
Clothing Drive-Echo Platoon is conducting a clothing drive for the hurricane Katrina victims. If you have any old clothes that are still wearable, decent, and that you can do without bring the clothes to M347. The clothes will be sent out March 31st. For more details contact Wanita Mccoy (601-2822).
Community Service – every Friday in March, along with April 6th there will be a fish fry from 4-7pm at
ROTC Scholarships – The military services are now accepting applications for ROTC scholarships for 2008 graduates. All applications are on-line. If you need assistance, contact CDR Piper. You need to take the SATs in May, June or September/October to get your scores in time to meet next year’s boards.
Veteran ID Project – Looking for cadets to volunteer in helping to interview WWII veterans to document their stories in the nation’s history archives at the Library of Congress. Anyone interested should see C/PO1 Ruggiero or put a letter in his mail box.
Zoo Opening Event - 2-3 cadets needed on April 1st (Sunday). See Joe Priore (lead) if interested.
Zoo Easter Event – April 7th from 10am to 3pm. Bravo Platoon to provide 6-8 cadets. POC Anne Jackson @ 534-9337.

UNIT OPERATIONS
Uniform of the week: Winter Blues; Summer Blues begin April 18th.
- Drill meet bus leaves at 0400 Sharp on March 31st.
- April 2-6 No before or after school activities
- All Naval Science classes will occur in room M347 (students who normally have class in M169 are to report to M347 for class).
Memory Book Sales end March 30th. All Ads & money will be turned in that day.
Supply: will be closed for remodeling and inventory from March 26 to April 24. No issues will be made unless it is an emergency.
SAT Registration Deadline: March 30th for May 5th Exam.
END OF YEAR VIDEO- If you have any photo’s you would like to have in the end of year video, place them in CO’s or XO’s mail box in M347 by March 30th
Promotion Drill Instruction ** Attention NS1 if you would like to advance in rank and you need to do the following (Personal Inspection, Basic drill, and rifle drill) see C/LTJG Kendrick and CMCPO Wilkinson.
ASVAB is scheduled to be given in room M358 on March 30th. Those interested in the military should consider taking this exam.
Pizza Sales April 18th – May 11th. WE NEED PARENTS to supervise this. Cadets should sign up in the class rooms if you would like to work the sales table during lunch periods.
